Mad Munny

The story

One sound.
Two cities.

Mad Munny is the Miami-made, Toronto-raised artist who invented Reggae-Cumbia — a body-moving fusion that laces reggae's hypnotic basslines with the hips-first swing of Colombian cumbia, all carried by a modern hip-hop edge.

The sound has a personal root. Mad Munny was first inspired to make music by a dear friend — Jimmy Cliff, the legend who carried reggae from Jamaica to the world. That friendship lit the spark; Reggae-Cumbia is where it led.

It's the heartbeat of Miami with the grit and gratitude of the city that raised him, Toronto. More than a mash-up, Reggae-Cumbia is a lane Mad Munny coined, crafted and now rolls out one anthem at a time.

From the 6 to the 305, the mission is simple: make the world dance together — in the most universal language there is, rhythm.

“If you've got a pulse, you've got the groove.”
